Embodiment and Eating Disorders:
Outcomes from a Randomized Controlled Trial on the Eat Breathe Thrive Intervention
with Dr. Catherine Cook-Cottone and Chelsea Roff
Can yoga and peer support help people recover from eating disorders?
Join Dr. Catherine Cook-Cottone and Chelsea Roff as they discuss results from their recent study.
The study included 277 adults across 27 countries — a scale rarely seen in yoga and eating disorders research. Most participants had lived with eating disorders for more than a decade but not yet recovered.
The webinar includes a brief presentation on the concept of embodiment and theory behind the intervention, followed by a discussion of the findings.
