Is this course right for me?
-
For the safety and well-being of all participants, we are unable to offer the course to individuals who:
Have engaged in self-harm behaviors within the past 30 days
Have attempted suicide within the past three months
Have experienced thoughts of suicide in the past month
This course is designed to complement treatment and teach skills to support you in recovery; it is not a replacement for treatment. If you are in the midst of a severe mental health crisis, it's important to know that yoga, group discussions, and experiential activities can sometimes be more destabilizing than supportive. We encourage you to speak with your medical and mental health providers if you’re unsure if the course is right for you. If you are currently experiencing any of the above challenges listed above, we encourage you to seek or continue with treatment, and apply for a course when it can be more supportive to your experience.
Yoga for Eating Disorder Recovery is designed for anyone aged 16+ who is in active recovery from an eating disorder. During the course, you will meet with others on the recovery journey and explore principles and practices to support your personal recovery.
