Integrating Yoga in Eating Disorder Recovery
Best Practices for Therapists and Clinicians
This continuing education event is for eating disorder professionals seeking to expand their treatment repertoire.
A growing body of research underscores the efficacy of yoga in bolstering eating disorder treatment. However, many clinicians, particularly in outpatient settings, lack specialized knowledge about the yoga practices that can be most helpful at different stages of recovery. This workshop is designed to bridge that knowledge gap.

Drawing from extensive experience integrating yoga in treatment, Chelsea will cover the fundamental concepts of yoga therapy tailored for clients with eating disorders. You will learn practices to help your clients build interoceptive awareness, foster body appreciation, and emotionally self-soothe. These somatic skills are crucial in long-term recovery and are often missing from conventional eating disorder therapies.
